Default Hum 460 Cubes

I personally like the 460 and actually toyed with this idea my self. After asking and answering alot of questions I decided not too, cost wasn't the biggest but it was a factor. Weight and streetabilty emmissions and many other factors weighed together to sour the idea.
You will need a conversion set-up, these are about $1000.00 just to convert.
Now you will be able to get a honest 275-300 ponies with stock heads, but be careful when porting or at least have a pro do this for you. It is real easy to screw the heads up especially on the exhaust side. If not get a set of Dove castings EBAY is a good source for these, in rebuilt condition, expect to pay some good money, but these heads with a mild 550 lift cam and a good intake will mek around 350 ponies and around 475-500 pounds of torque.
Remember one thing cubic inches rule. But only if they produce, multiple horse power per inch. Lets try 1:1 first they go up.. There is always Nitrous,if the old tried and true don't work...
Have fun, and send me some pictures and time slips..

Mac..
