Question Oil Pump Failure Supercharghed 2002 GT

Mustang GT 2002 with ATI PS1-C 3-core intercooled supercharger, Ford Racing Ceramic coated stubby headers, MAC pro-chamber, MSD Stacker 8 ignition, Ford Racing 70mm throttle body, Ford Racing 30# injectors and side exhaust with Dynomax performance mufflers had 10.83 ET in 1/4 at 108mph with 2.0 60' running only street programing has had oil pump failure. Ring gear in pump sheared in half. Since my mechanical experience has not gone past the bolt-ons a performane shop has quoted $2013 to install Motorsport HO pump. For additional $765 replace useless stubby headers with MAC long tube coated headers and X-pipe and another $895 will get me Crower stage 2 cams. The Ford dealership here says they will not replace the oil pump, only replace entire engine (Is that bull or what! - So much for Blue Oval Service!!) Another ventured that the engine must come out to replace the pump, then quoted a price based on dropping oil pan, removing, and replacing (again Blue Oval - leaves you wondering doesn't it?!) Some Stang buddies are crying foul to much for pump replacecent, others say decent price. Looking for anyone with knowledge of this.
