I went home put some clay inside the cylinder, bolted on the GT40 on with no gasket, stock pushrods, stock rockers. turned over the crank, got an impressoin in the clay, then marked it with a knife. I then took my DREMEL TOOL with a metal grinding bit, took out about 40 thousands, about the same as a gasket. Now, with a GT40 upper & lower intake, 24lb inj., 93 cobra 70 mm mass air conversion kit, 190 ltr in the tank, alluminum driveshaft, 70 mm throttlebody, bbk 1 5/8 equal length headers. Just to let you know, i am not a certified mechanic. oh, almost forgot, 100 shot of spray, M/T street radials. the car is deeeep! into the 12s. i have been running this setup for almost 1 year. if u have ne questions, let me know.
LOL, All you had to do was run Trick flow twisted wedge heads and you would have been fine. The valves on the trickflows clear the 86 pistons.

Glad you figured it out though.
