I'd have to go with real, but these guys I saw on there knew each other from a racing forum and had talked trash over that forum for a long time... I guess the producers caught wind of it and it was time to 'put up or shut up!' I thought it was fairly funny to see these losers walking home or hitching a ride with their friends!
