The Vette at $45,000 (for the base vehicle?) is not really such a bad deal is it? I drove an '02? (6speed), I believe it was, that really drove nice and had plenty of power (345 hp?) at around 3100-3200 lbs. Anyway, I couldn't really flog it well enough to test it with the owner sitting right beside me, but it did run and handle well for that kind of car. I'm really a Ford kind of guy, but I could not fault that Vette in any way except maybe for the looks, and that wasn't too bad either. OK, I know I'm open for flames now, LOL.
