This is probably my first post in about 6 or 7 years, lol. Amazed I remembered my password.

Anyway, I believe the 'L' model is the base model and lowest model you could get the 5.0L. I had an '84 LX as my first 5.0L. Not sure if it makes it any more valuable, but it is unique. Too bad it got totaled, a restored model at a car show would probably draw a bit of attention among fans of the four eyed foxes.
