Well, I started posting on Corral also for a bit, and have decided to stay here! Why, you may ask? Because although the Corralers know their sh!t and I have no problems with anyone who posts on there, I have noticed several differences between Corral and MW.
First of all the message topics..like about T&A, and the calling of ALL girls hoes etc etc. Yes, there are bad women AND men out there, but I don't feel like seeing sterotypes continously pushed on a message board, even a casual one.
Second, lots of hostility!!! harsh arguing between members, so on and so on. Its cool that people here can disagree, but not cuss each other THAT much haha http://www.mustangworks.com/msgboard/wink.gif
So, just wanted to thank everyone else here for keeping MW a fun and un-hostile place to be!! (is un-hostile even a ******* word?) http://www.mustangworks.com/msgboard/tongue.gif

I agree. This board kicks some major @ss. Right after I got my Stang I used to hang out on the Corral while I was in English class in high school. I could never get any real info on much of anything cuz it was so mixed up (this was years ago before they became organized). Then I found this site and I've been here ever since. Good tech and the people rule.

I found out about this UBB because I started a thread similar to this one about the Corral over at CamaroZ28.com. I have to agree with you Elisha that the Corralers are pretty harsh to each other and I actually made a comment about the female corralers attacking new people. CZ28 is very similar to this site. Everyone gets along and voices their opinions without offending others. After reading this board for a while I decided to join because it's not the same atmosphere as the corral http://www.mustangworks.com/msgboard/smile.gif.

I love it here! Even though my stang is going soon, I will still frequent here and keep the Mustang blood pumping through my veins. The people are great and never steer you wrong. They do bicker alot on the other boards and quite frankly there are always people giving advice who have NO idea what they are talking about, steering people wrong. There's hardly any of that here... I love it.

Mustangbelle306:
Thanks for the vote of confidence in Mustang Works; we appreciate it.
Dan McClain and the staff have worked very hard to make the Works a user-friendly, fun and informative Mustang site, minus all the junk that you see on some other sites.
It's hard work and took time and effort, but the work has obviously paid off, as your post shows. Dan and I have always believed in quality over mere volume and long ago decided to risk losing a few people now and then, in order to keep the site and especially the messageboards a place you want to visit, not a place that leaves you feeling angry or depressed. We think we've succeeded, but at the end of the day, it's the quality of our members that make the boards what they are.
For that, we are ever grateful to you and all the others who have helped make us a success.
Thanks.

Your right on. I don't even own a Stang anymore, but yet I still come back here. This site has, by far, the best quailty people on it.
Mustangbelle306- if your the same person I think you are, I met up w/ you last year this time when I was visiting my buddy in DC.
-uhh, Yup, Elisha. I just saw your webpage. Your car looks awesome!!!

This is a very good BB. I've been impressed with it ever since I found out about it and joined up. I used to hang out on quite a few other boards. The corral, it sucks. Modularmustang.com, bunch of smart@ss kids and it sucks. Saleen.com, a bunch of little dumb kids, and it sucks. Stangnet, sn95, no longer there. Now it's just here and saleenchat.com, a separate site not part of Saleen but a bunch of us from the old Saleen site before it shut down and was rearranged because a bunch of the Saleen owners were having nothing but problems with there cars and were letting Saleen know about it, so we have our own BB. The old saleen techtalk is a bunch of teens asking the same questions everyday about how to make their V6 a S351 or glorifying the S7. Anyways, this site is by far superb and the fellow stangers here are very cool. I"m also glad the women are getting involved.

Hey! Yeah long time no talk!!! The stang is well on its way to running pretty well, just picked up my NOS system today hehe! I look a bit different http://www.mustangworks.com/msgboard/smile.gif so I wasn't sure you'd remember me but I'm glad you did! Email me @ Mustangbelle_306@yahoo.com and let me know how your stang is coming! http://www.mustangworks.com/msgboard/tongue.gif
BTW put the cartech on today, and trying to get used to the loss of bottom end torque, but its well worth it after 3500 rpms!!
