has anyone had a vehicle repossed by the bank or credit company where they owed the money?? what happens afterwards? what about voluntary repo'ing?? the reason i am asking is that i am haveing a hard time selling my truck. i am paying for something i don't use hardly at all since i got my stang. between the payment and insureance it is around $300 a month that i could use for mod and other things. anyone wana buy a truck? 99 ford ranger

You don't want it repoed... it will mess up your credit rating for years to come. If you're behind on your payments, go talk to the bank or whoever, and ask their advice. If you are making your payments, try to sell it.

Yes, if you are having troubles go talk to your bank. I work with bankers on a daily basis and trust me, they think much more of you and they will be willing to help you out.

Don't just try and brush it under the table.

I used to work at a Ford dealership for several years, and I've seen several voluntary repos. In fact, a couple of the folks made money!!!!! The vehicles went to auction, and any money made over what they owed was returned to them! Nuts, huh? I say talk to the bank (the loans were through Ford Credit) and see what they can do!
