What???? Is this Ford trying to capitalize on the big "R"? Now that all the ricers made a big deal out of the typeR Integra, they want to make a Cobra type R. Give me a break. Now if we start seeing your average Mustang with the type R stickers, we will be no worse than them.

I'm not capping on the car, just the choice of names. The car looks sweet.

Rest easy MonsterTrosity, it's a Cobra R not a Type R. I can't remember all the years that there has been an "R" versioned Cobra maybe '93...or '95? It's strictly a stripped down all purpose racing Cobra (hence the "R"). I can assure you that Ford is not trying to capitalize on the Type R.

I know that it is a limited production vehicle and all, but I know he didn't even pay 85,000 for it which is his minimum bid and not his reserve. I am sure that he wants over 100,000 for it. I really can't believe the nerve of that guy trying to get 100,000+ for that car. It is sad that people try to rip people off how he is....especially since he doesn't appreciate the car for what it is....a street legal road racing machine. It only has FIVE FRIGGING MILES ON IT!!!!!!!

these people piss me off. the 2000 cobra r was made for people that are ford enthusiastsand mustang lovers and just like the 93 and the 95 cobra r models it was made for racing but again all 300 were already sold to people that just want to make money and sell it to some ford lover for twice as much as they bought it for before most of us even new that ford was going to make them. in fact they were all sold to these money hungry assholes before they were even made.

As for the Supra inferno posted. I prefer nissan but have respect for any fast car. There is an Army Major over here that has a silver one that has 11.97 stenciled on his back window. I have never seen him run or talked to him but have seen him take off from lights a few times and his car is very fast.

Inferno, that Supra is cool except for the auto trans and the fact that it has 96,000 miles on it, same for the 300z, but I doubt the 300z really makes 400hp with the few mods it has and its an auto too. I like Skylines though

Stillen chips add a lot of power....and he probably is means at the crank. I don't like autos either

Hey 13sec95vert, at least in the Supra and the Skyline you have things like a radio, cruise control, a/c....you can't live in Cali(or Texas) without having a/c
