I had the greatest experience today me and my girlfriend went to the local ford dealership. As usual we were swormed be sales reps, and i siad i'm just here to look at the Bullitt. The sales dude said ok. So i walked over to stare at the car and as i was in the middle of an open mouth drool. He says you want to drive it, i paused then said hell f'n yeah! I'm a 21 year old college student, salesmen don't do that to people like me. It was awesome! So we do the whole test drive bit. The car looks great, sounds great but wasn't fast enough? A little drain on the wallet too. $27,000! They say it runs 13.70's(doesn't feel like it)?
AWESOME EXPERIENCE THOUGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, and friend and I go test drivin' sometimes. I'm 22, but I give 'em that whole "I let my sister drive my 93 Cobra and she wrecked it, and my dad said he would buy me a new car, he just doesn't want to spend over $40,000 in cash....I'm a spoiled little rich kid whose daddy will buy him anything he wants...blah blah blah" bit.

You'd be surprised how my sales reps will run for the keys after that crap. We've drivin' new GT's, a sweet 95 Cobra, a Camaro SS, 300ZX's, etc, etc.

Makes for a good Saturday afternoon.

Mike- Didn't one of them run a 14.5 at around 95ish? I think it was during the first round of time trials for the true street cars.

If I had a Bullit and couldn't get it out of the 15's I'd put a "Bullit" in my head! I hate it when bad drivers get their hands on fast cars!

I think the Bullit is HIGHLY overrated. However, some other "theme" cars should be coming out of the Ford camp soon and I think those are going to be the real deal (let's hope so after the '99 Cobra and now the Bullit fiasco).

Poopstang? Why on earth did you decide on that as your handle?, lol -- pretty funny.
