Question rear end shifting to much

I've recently put in 373 gears and have noticed some rub marks on my rear pipes
from the tires. Seams like the rear is
tweaking quite a bit from the increased
torque. Any one have any recommendations
to fix this problem? I heard that urethane
bushings can bind, is this true?
Will a tbird tbocoupe rear bolt into my car
without any hacking? I heard that these are
1.5 inches wider than the mustang rear.

Hi,
Check your rear torque boxes. Especially
the upper torque boxes. Mine had crazy
swaying when the upper boxes were cracked.

Eventually it did crack and I had to pay $500CDN to get it re-welded.

Bye!

You could always get a panhard bar to prevent lateral motion of the axle.

I'm running 245's on my 93. I auto cross 1-2 times a month. There was some tire marks on my pipes. Put urethane bushings in upper and lower arms. Welded 10 ga plates on uppers to box them. Greased the metal and bushings with marine grease and have not had any binding at all. This little bit of work really impressed me with the difference in how the car reacts when driven hard into a turn.
