Cool NOS....hehe, the wheels are turnin'

Alright, how many of you mod motors are running NOS? Hammer, I know you are, what setup are you using? I"m thinking about it if I keep my stang which it's kinda looking that way. How much can my 2v take? up to 150? What kind of system would be recommended and what all has to be done to the fuel and ignition systems? What all does this entail? I"m looking to improve my daily driver to have some much needed power when needed but while not having excess wear and tear in daily driving, know what I mean? What's some avg. prices around? Oh no, I wrote in ONE BIG paragraph form.

I'm running a Zex 75hp dry shot....
A very nice and safe setup....
The kit ran me just shy of 500 dollars.
A little expensive, but it was a breeze to install....

I also run the ZEX NOS system. Love it and am comfortable it is safe and reliable. The 75 HP makes a big difference when you think you need it and the system has about a gazillion less parts than the others. All the solenoids, etc are packaged in a purple anodized box about the size of 2 cigarette packs stacked together. Installation is clean and simple. See the March edition of MM&FF. They installed a ZEX............

Cool

Who sells the Zex system and where's the best price? Also, how did you go about mounting the bottle in the tank?

check out www.zex.com
The kit comes with a trunk mount for the bottle. There are several choices on how you might want to secure the mounts. (Bolting, welding)
My mount screws are welded into the trunk.

Be sure to get the in line pressure guage, and if you have the cash, a bottle heater and remote bottle opener. I can't tell you how many times I've pulled up to race instigators with my bottle closed... ARGH!
