Does the EEC-V treat WOT different from "almost WOT"? And is anything less than 5.00 V from the TPS not considered WOT? The reason I ask is my car is acting funny when I mash the gas to the floor - it kinda surges. I am wondering that if my TPS is not quite at 5.00 V at WOT could this be causing my problem. The last time I checked it it was exactly 5.00 V but I plan to check it again today, and may even raise it to say 5.05 V. Thanks in advance for any comments!

I don't know about the Cobra, but WOT on the GT is not right AT 5.0 volts, it's actually somewhat under. The highest I have seen from my TPS is 4.68 volts, and my performance has been just fine....

Have you checked your TPS setting at idle?

You are right Hammer. I read 1.013 V at idle and 4.86 V at WOT. I loosened the two screws and was able to get the reading to change a little at idle, but I could not get any more than 4.86 at WOT. When I was finished playing, I ended up with just a RCH over 1 V at idle and the same 4.86 at WOT. I have not driven it yet but plan to this afternoon. I don't expect any difference. What else could be causing by surging problem? Thanks guys for the input.
