I pulled a 628 code last night, excesive converter slippage. Anyone know what would cause this? 95 GT, AODE, Transgo, 80K miles, daily driver, no "racing." I asked on the chat, most say it is the torque converter.
Don't have the answer but these guys would - www.artcarr.com (http://www.artcarr.com) - www.baumannengineering.com (http://www.baumannengineering.com) Both answer phone calls.

Well...excessive converter slippage could be a lot of things. Check your fluid levels, for one. If their fine, get on the phone with one of the places macx recommended.
