![]() I bought my car in peices with 68 mustang disc brake setup and putting them on in place of my front drums! When I attatched the lower control arm the strut rod studs do not line up(68 control arm bolt holes are parallel to the rotor, but the strut rod studs come in at an angle). I don't have the old lower control arms anymore. Can I line the rod up and weld it,go to a junk yard or buy new??? Also can you think of any more issues that might come up. Thought it would bolt up add a proporioning valve and bleed, This is my first resto and is a fun but perplexing job. Thanks for any suggestions

![]() From what I know, those arms are different and
you likely need to find arms for that model. Here's a link that is very informative on brake swaps into early Stangs http://www.geocities.com/mustangsteve66/ |
