GT-40 lower intake question (small ports)

The intake ports on my heads are 2 inch, The ports on my intake are 1 3/4 inches.

Do I need to have my lower intake ported for good performance or will it run fine like it is.

What gasket are people running with the GT-40 lower?

I thought the ports on the GT-40 lower would be at least as big as the ports on ported E7's

you must port it! if you dont you will get a lot of turbulance and thats not good. you want to port it to maximize velocity.

of the top of my head i think the biggest gasket you can get it a fel pro 1262 (i thinks thats the number)

dont even waste your time putting the intake on if the ports are that different.
