Hey Nick, I'll let you in on a little secret. But don't tell anyone;). Not many people know this but on 87-93 Mustangs there is a gague in the lower right hand side of the cluster. It actully tells you how much gas you have. Imagina that.:D

If I remember correctly my car has a 14 gallon tank and while I didn't run out of gas I once put in 13.91 gallons. Is that close enough?:D

I've come close too..sputtered into the gas station :(

I used to run it on empty too much, and especially now that I am getting ~9 mi to the gallon..I can't wait to see how soon I'm going to have to replace my fuel pump...and all that bottom of the tank garbage *ugh*

As a commercial pilot, I've learned never to run out of fuel, no matter what my mode of transportation may be!

Yes tireburner i know where that gauge is it just doesnt work very well lol. It also helps when you reset your trip odometer right after filling up not after going to and from work which is like 20 miles

I'm trying to turn over a new leaf.....I usually stay on E. I've discovered that the gauge can be touching the red mark and i'm still going!!! I'm trying to convert!!!!! NOT ONLY have I been filling up when I"m low for the past few WEEKS...every 3rd tank I'm dumping in injection cleaner!!!! Although, i'm w/ Belle, my gas footage sux, and I could easily fill my tank up a few times a week, even though I'm only about 15 miles (at best) from work!!!!!! (for now!!!!!:D ) And unfortunately I had the pump blow when it was going down the TRACK!!!! Talk about embarrassing!!!!!:o Nothing like a little black smoke out the exaust!!!
