Well i am more of a metalhead but i like punk too. i like old Green Day, AFI is pretty cool, Bad Religion is alright, Dropkick Murphys are sweet! They are a Irish punk band from Boston that adds some bagpipes in thier punk music and it is very cool. The original Misfits are good too.

Punk is the best!! I'm in a punk band and we're pretty big in the local scene here. I like , Lagwagon, AFI, NUFAN, Strungout, Alkaline trio, Cringer, The Ataris, and the list could go on, butt I'll cut it short.

I used to be into the punk thing back in the day...AAH sweet 80's. But now I'm mostly into alternative stuff and country.

My boss makes me listen to country all day. And it kinda grows on ya.
But mostly out of work I listen to X103 here in Indy. I likes it.

"I like blink182, sum41 allot though."

That is not punk as they wish they were. IMO they are poppy sell out wannabe punk. Blink used to be good (Dude Ranch) but have since changed thier music style to make more money.

I hate when people think there "Punk" cause they only listen to Blink 182, Sum41, SR71, and don't know of anything else. They wanna be "Punk" cause its now trendy, and are in it just for the scene! Damn scenesters!!!!! "Punk" is a way of life, and has real meaning to some people, and is just recently gaining popularity cause of crappy bands like Blink 182. Sorry i could rant and rave all day, so i'll stop now.

I hear ya man. that is so annoying...I liked the newer Blink cd the first week it came out, and god It got so annoying after that first week. I dunno how I even considered listening to that. i'm not to fond of the scenesters either...I love going to venues like "The Fireside"(biggest chicago venue...) cause there, you know there aren't any wanna be's in there...unlike the small venues where the frosh. come to check out that one band that everyone is starting to like....geez, it's so annoying.

I didn't mean to offend anyone about calling blink, and sum41 a punk band I didn't know this was such a sensitive subject

Nirvana use to be punk back in the day, before they got popular in the alternative scene. So was rage against the machine (hence the name) machine being the music industry, but look where they ended up!

Hey 69fastback, you know the bass player for the mad caddies??? That's awesome, there are pretty good!

Yea I think he really needs a hug.

I sure wouldn't want to tie up with him. He took 4 guys out in about 3 seconds.
