I am thinking about getting a code scanner, but i only need one that does 94 to present Fords. The vehicles I would need to scan would be a 94 GT, a 95 GTS and a 95 Explorer. I'm just getting a little sick of doing it without one.
Can anyone suggest ones for me to look into and how much I can expect to pay?

Are the ones from Sears any good?

The ones at sears are the Actron Code Scanners! They are very good, and I have the code scanners and scan tools. Never a problem, I think I paid 30 bucks for the code scanners! :)

Just make sure that it works with OBDII vehicles.
Take care,

OK Sears near my house doesn't have them right now and they don't know when they will get them back again. I was looking for something a little more serious, one that actully shows the code like the one speed pro used to put out, or maybe it was sealed power?

Try your local auto parts store. My scan tool is an OTC Mindreader, and is pretty trick, but it cost me around $450 new, and another $350 (give or take) when I upgraded it to work with OBDII vehicles as well. You can buy cheaper ones at your auto parts store that will do what you want. Expect to pay around $200.
Take care,

You can get the scan tool, and that shows everything. I got it off the actron website! Can't remember the price, it says on the site!
