Default squealing noise somewhere under the serpentine?

I cant figure out where its coming from, could it be the tensioner? it only happens sometimes, also think my powersteering is going out, should i just wait until it craps out completely? the noise is embarrassing when it starts making raquet around stoplights

And on hard right turns i hear it squeak? thnx

use the ol' broomstick to the ear method! Take a broomstick and take the broom off then put one end to the part you think might be making the noise and the other end right to your ear. You'll hear just what's going on with that component. Good luck and just be very careful with the moving parts!!

Default water pump, etc.

Don't forget to check the water pump. Check the weep hole under it too. A bearing that is going in a water pump is a very unique sound.
A power steering pump going is indicated aurally by a noticeable "warbling" when you hoze the wheel over under load, like when you are barely moving and it requires tremendous pressure on the pump.
Good luck.

My guess it is either the tensioner or altenator. my car did the same thing a few years back. just take off the alternator and bring it to an autoparts store and have them run it on their machine and see if it does it. but also keep in mind it still could be the wp or air pump. but the old broom stick method does work good.

Mine does the exact same thing, and its my power steering pump. Not sure what's goin' on, but I keep having to add power steering fluid. I've also had a squealing problem when I needed a new tensioner, so I guess it could be either/or....or BOTH!

I like that broomstick idea With my luck, I'll be able to use it verrrrrrrrrrrry soon
