I'm getting ready to part with 379.00 for my hood tomorrow. Does anyone live near New Orleans that can tell me about how long it took to receive the hood, and about how much the truck shipping was.
I called Cervini's last week and all they could give me was a guesstimate.

Ok anybody that has ever orderd a hood from Cervini's, about how long did it take to get your hood, and about how much was shipping?

I was also wondering if I anyone thinks that it would be a good idea (and a little extra insurance) to add some hood pins?

A friend bought a hood from them. As far as shippng costs and times, I don't know. But the quality of their product was the best I have ever seen. You won't be dissappointed.

If you are going with fiber glass its a good idea to put in the extra protection of hood pins. Had my ex-boyfriend's hood unlatch (safety caught) while I was coming down the street, not speeding or anything. That and they look cool! ; )

I live in South Florida, and it took me 5 days to get it.

It was well worth the wait! :)

Oh, and my shipping was included in the price when I got it.

as for hood pins, I've had that car well over 120 many many many times and never had a problem. Cervinis are rock solid!!!

After you've had a hood fly up and destroy your roof panel, take out your windshield, and rip the hinges right out of the body, you'll glady accept the look of hood pins.

My ABC Exclusives 4 in RR hood flew up during a race at speeds of 100 mph +, and I paid the price...to the tune of $1000+.

I bought a Cervini's after that, and the fit was perfect right out of the box. I paid $50 shipping to Washington, D.C. area, and it took 2 days.

I live here in the great city of Houston, which ain't too far from you. I didn't order a hood from them, but I did buy the GT Stalker Front Bumper from them. It only took about 3 or 4 days to get it. The shipping was less then 90 bucks. I don't think there will be a big difference on shipping between your hood and my bumper.

Tried to order the hood from Cervini's a little while ago. They are on backorder for about three to four weeks. Had the wife call Texas Mustang Parts and order it from them. It was only 20.00 more than directly from Cervini's, but it will be here in about three days.....Cant wait to get it on.....

BTW thanks to everyone that posted replies!
