Default Looks good...

Did you get a new MAF with it? What size? It looks good and I am thinking about getting one. I still have the stock p.o.s. rubber tube thingy connecting my 73mm c+l and 65mm tb.
Damn nice clean engine bay too.

Cool nope

I've had the C&L 73 ever since the came out ,and i have same 65 T/B in fact C&L want you when you hook it up ,to run the airbox (with K&N) and delete the bracket that mounts the MasAir .acuse when the motor torques . they found the most H/P with that setup I just have to clean up the box before i put it back on

Default Curious?

moc,
I am curious about the recommendations c+l made.
Tony G at Hocus Pocus said he didn't think much of Mac cold air because of the 90* bend in the tube just before the MAF and he feels that the setup cost cost hp.
Any info you have would be appreciated. I am trying to scare up any hp I can. See my NA goal below.
Thanks

I've had my C&L for so long I can't remember what it is!! Or maybe it's because I stopped by the bar before I came home!!!

Just curious - does anyone know what that thin piece of metal atached to the firewall at the passenger side above the brake lines is for. It looks like half of a band-aid but has holes in it... I have no idea what it is for? Maybe to hold up the hood liner from the back if the holders fell out??

Also, would putting in a 73mm C&L (calibrated for 19lb injectors) be of any benefit on an otherwise mostly stock car, or would it need to be done in combination with a larger EGR/Throttle Body/ and Intake?

Cool Ground

That brass looking tab. Is for lightning strikes.. it's a ground for your hood ( no *****) and yes you would feel a difference with a 73mm C&L ,slight but you would feel it

Cool

Really - a ground for the hood, I would have never guessed that! Good thing I only drive on sunny days now that I removed mine
