66 Mustang ?s

Hey folks,
Got two questions actually.

First: Does anyone know where I can find a 427 stroke kit for a 351W? I'm looking for Eagle parts preferably.

Second (this is a rather long one):
I'm building my 66 in memory of my father who passed almost a year ago, and have recently came across the sales reciept with the VIN of the car that he ordered from the factory, so he was the original owner. Actually it's just the Warranty number, but I'm hoping it's enough. I'd like to track this car down and see what happened to it, or where it is. I went to the local DMV and it is not on file because it has not been registered in 2 years, and I can't use Autocheck or anything online because they require the 17 digit VINs from 81 on. Now my question: Anyone know where I could go to try and track this VIN? It's 6Fo7c269633.
