First off a EEC computer cannot be fixed, only replaced, it is a proprietary piece just like Windows on your computer at home, so nobody is authorized to go in it, plus it's not cost effective.

Well I have looked in over 13 states in the U.S. and not one single junk yard or parts store can get one for me..... Well how about that?

What some of you guys don't know is that

#1) you can use a computer from an automatic with NO Problems
#2) an automatic computer actually performs BETTER!

Default aod computer=better

I had heard the same thing,it makes since that they would be more agressive to make up for some of the drivetrain hp loss of the automatic,BUT ALL YOU EVER HEAR IS A9L THIS AND THAT so I just figured the source that I heard it from was wrong ,wouldn't be the first time (MM&FF).
