![]() 5 Mustangs and a Hot Rod Lincoln made the 4.5 hour treck to Rockingham NC from Princeton WV for the Civil Wars. It was a great weekend for all!
At Bristol, my 88 Lx (3:08, BBK Shorties Mac X & Cat back, and pullies) had run 14.2 @ 96 mph. Over the winter I added a tfs cam, gt-40 U&L, 65 mm Tb, and converted to mass air a-9l. I then blew the tranny and added a tremec. At the Rock (which is much closer to seal level than Bristol) I turned a best of 13.645 @ 104.61. I had a 2.292 60 ft and went thru the lights in 3rd at 6300-6400 rpm. We were haulin on top end. Question 1. I have 3:55's ready for install, how do you think they will affect my times? Question 2. My 60 ft times have slowed .1-.2 since Bristol. Do I attribute that to more hp or to the 1st gear ratio of the tremec? I run Yoko 255/50/16's? Also, look out for a Champagne 1988 Lsc. That baby went 12.05 @ 113 thanks to trick flow heads and kenne bell. Thats at 3960 lbs.
