![]() Hi All,
Just thought I'd introduce myself. I'm an electrical engineer from Oklahoma city. I just happen to work in an assembly plant that builds starters and alternators, so I may be able to help with technical issues in those areas. My car is a 94 Cobra that doesn't seem to run quite right, but when I finally get it running right I plan to turbo it! I already have a TKO, 31 spline axles, and an Eaton posi in preparation for the turbo. My other car is an 87 buick regal T-type (grand national without the stickers) that ran 11's before I broke the crankshaft in half. As soon as I get it back together, it's getting sold to finance the new mustang project! I'm usually over on the Corral and ran across this forum today. Looks like lots of good stuff here. Brian |

![]() Welcome to the board! Your not too far away from me, there are also quite a bit of OKC people on the board. By the way, how much are you going to sell the buick for?

![]() 1BAD89,
I'll be selling it for around $7k this summer with a fresh engine. I sold off some of the big parts (GN1 aluminum heads, PT52 Turbo) but it probably still has enough to run some high 11's. mysweetlx, Yes, I broke the crankshaft at the #5 rod journal. I estimate it was making 450 RWHP (3800# car doing 117 MPH with an automatic). That's why I'm going to sell it. I've already broken the trans twice and the engine once. Time for a bulletproof mustang instead! |
