I just realized that I have picture editing software on my computer. No more searching for thumbnails that meet the avatar size requirement. Now I get to put cool pics in there from anywhere.
I feel really dumb because it took me 4 months to realize my computer could do that. But at least I put it to good use the first time, how 'bout that BOSS?

Why didn't they put the fake inlet scoops on the quarter panels of the Boss' like they did the rest of the '69 Machs and fastbacks? I know in '70 they completely deleted the scoop on all models....but why the '69 Boss'?
I've always kinda wondered about that.....:confused: :confused: :confused:

Larry "The BOSS" Shinoda thought the fake scoops made the car look busy (and bad). He wanted to build a hot Mustang and his stand was the scoops had to go. On a side note, they made it on the BOSS 429.

what? for a 2k under warranty, you better have a gun, hehehe, really the car looks great man, congrats, i may be getting my 69 grande back, geez more money!, but i do miss that raw 302- 4- speed.:D

Thanks for the info, Deuce. I appreciate it. Put another mystery in Ben's mind to rest. I think the '69s look better with the scoop than the '70s do without it. That's just my opinion though....the one that DOESN'T count...:rolleyes:
I bet your new GT would SMOKE that Grande Marty! And then I would smoke your GT!:D :p

no ben, acutally my grande was built buy a guy, with 2 -70 boss 302's the coupe would smoke my gt, then i would smoke your fastback, bwahahaha, i never lost a race in the 69. really.:p :D

ahhhh....didn't know about the engine being built....I figured it was stock....
I've never lost a race either.....:) But the fastest car I've raced was a guy running low 15s.....:D :D :p

it's not super built just 4v heads , bored .30 over , aluminum slugs, headers, 70 mach 4-speed & 70 mach rear end & a 2v carb, it's fast though, i dont think it would have a chance against radicalgt, but it aint no whipping boy,:D :p
