Question Anyone ever used-.....?

Anyone ever used Tow Kool? It's a little white bottle of stuff that's supposed to help your engine run a little cooler. I bought a bottle for like 6 or 7 bucks at Pep Boys in Colorado Springs this weekend (Belle, I couldn't find WaterWetter ).

Anyone know if it works or what kind of reputation it has?

Thanks in advance.

CRC Industries, Inc. in Warminster, PA. The logo is a red hexagon with white CRC and a small sphere printed inside the curvature of the last C.

CRC is a great company, and they make excellent products, so I'd say you're in good hands.

Take care,
-Chris

Thanks for helping Chris, like always.

My car still runs a lot cooler since I changed the coolant mixture. But I want to get it a little cooler still, without spending the big bucks for a radiator and/or water pump. Do coolant additives like this usually work or have any effect at all?

yeah, they do. just make sure you follow the directions. Some require that there be NO coolant at all in the mix.

Take care,
-Chris

Directions are easy, it just says to make sure the vehicle is off and cooling system is completely cool. I'll do it tomorrow morning so it will be for sure all the way cooled off. All it says then is to make sure there's enough room for it and dump it in the radiator.

Sounds pretty simple to me.

Thanks again, Christopherson.
