![]() Does anyone know a company that sells a strut tower brace for a 2002 Mustang GT conv. with an ATI intercooled Procharger on it? I have found them for Vortech SC but not ATI. Thanks

![]() Something like this?
http://www.mustangworks.com/cgi-bin/moi-media.cgi?591+3 That is a Steeda strut tower brace with a Cobra induction sneaking underneath the brace into the intake...

![]() Looks good!
How do you like the procharger?? I called Steeda and they said it wouldn't fit? Is it because you have the Cobra intake on it?

![]() Yep,
I was able to use the 96-98 Cobra induction unit because the throttle body on my Motorsport intake is pretty close (if not the same) to the same diameter of the 96-98 Cobra throttle body. And since the 96-98 Cobras had strut tower braces... viola!! If you're staying with the stock intake, your choices will be pretty limited: 1. Don't put on a strut tower brace 2. (I'm guessing here...) Look at a 2001 Cobra and see if their strut tower brace would fit your car and would clear your induction\intake. If so, you might be able to use that and get a hood that would clear your setup... I wouldn't be messing with that induction tube too much, especially if it's a blown application. You start messing with that air clearance, and you could be in some trouble... As far as the Procharger is concerned... I love the darn thing!! Hardest part of the install is the intercooler and all of the induction piping. It gets REALLY cramped in that engine compartment. Intercooled Prochargers put out some REALLY good numbers...
