![]() Hey guys, I just left the local dyno here in town, they specialize in custom superchargers and etc on Mustangs and other domestic cars. Anyway, I was there when a 2002 GT pulled up on the rollers, I was kind of interested to see what kind of #s he was gonna pull because i've never seen a run with a 4.6L stang before. They popped the hood on it, it had the stock plastic intake on it and a k&n filter sticker on the airbox, so nothing out of the ordinary under the hood, looked basically stock. Well they hooked it up and ran the car, it put down 280 horses at the wheels. I was shocked, and somewhat confused at the numbers he put down. Did this guy get a freak of nature or what? Even the guy running the dyno couldnt understand the #s, hes run a few before and usually they are 230-240hp, the only thing the guy had done was a pair of flowmasters, and a K&N. Doesnt that sound high? I didnt think that those mods alone would give that kind of power, it has only 1200 miles on it, and the guy can barely make the payments, so i doubt hes got cams or anything in it. I thought i'd share this interesting story with u guys, im sure some of you will be as dumbfounded as i was haha, take care
