I wanna add an amp to my 2001 Mustang Gt with the 460 audio...i was wondering what was the best way to get the rca jacks to the amp tho...does the stock radio have it? or should i run it from the speakers?

i know it has 2...where is the third...and i was looking to add another cause i want more speakers in my trunk=)...i was thinkin the easiest way would be to take off the panel underneath and splice into the to other speakers with one of those rca crossover things...i am kinda new to adding amps...ive only done one other when i added a radio to my trans am...and the rca jacks were in the back of the radio

Your stock radio doesn't hav RCA's.

Add more speakers....as in subs?

There are two in the rear and one in the center console, under the radio.

Hummmmm......there really isn't any good way to wire up a amp for the purpose you intend it for without a aftermarket HU (CD player)

You're talking about an LOC (Line Output Converter) - yes that will work. In particular for adding bass, it's fine.
