Default ok last question about NOS please help!!!!

My nitrous has not been working for a while. Tonight I started it up and connected the two wires to the fuel pressure regulator shut off switch. I then activated the switch manually and it spreayed the juice. I then reconnected the two wires and took it for a spin to see if it works while driving, and i punched it and no increase in power? What is the problem. I have adequete fuel pressure. Is the FPR bad? Please help!

How do you know you have adequate fuel pressure? It could be dying off with higher RPM.

Its either your fuel pump or the pressure safety switch. Personally I wouldn't bypass that switch and drive it, cause if it really is your fuel pump then you could cause major damage. Another switch wouldnt cost way too much, or you could have that one tested

i know it has adequate fuel pressure b/c i had it tested b4 when the NOS wasnt working (turned out to be the plugs). I dont remember the numbers, but I posted them and people said that it was adequete fuel pressure.

How do i test the FP safety switch? Isnt there a way to adjust the FPSS with an allen wrench? If there is, which way should i turn the screw?

IF I find out that it is still good, maybe for some reason the fuel pump is not supp;lying enough pressure. OH yeah, when testing it manually, I connected the wires to the pressure switch and tested it again, (it sprayed juice). maybe ill bypass the FPSS and hope it fires the motor so i can get a new one for next year! Just Kidding

Thanks for all replies- This is frustrating, it has only worked a few times and only ONCE at the track b4 not working again!
