just got my 87 GT. Already bored with its mostly stock power. =(

ok. the only mods are some shorty headers and an h pipe with year old flows on the end. other than that the engine is stock. It is a 5 speed manual.

my question is:
a. which way should i go (EFI/CARB)?

b. what coil, ignition, carb/injectors, intake, and method of getting air there (ram, cold air, cowl).......would u use? any help would be nice. i am leaning towards carb'd right now, just cause i can fix them 200% easier than EFI. Plus i would have lots less electronic crap under the hood. (death to the car "computer")

well me personaly, id go with carb. cuz its easy an less of pain to get right an not to mention alot cheaper as well. a 600-650 carb is about right for a 302. depending on ur setup the Edelbrock RPM air-gap intake is the best thing goin right now.
