![]() I was trying to install some 1.7 pedistal mount roller rockers on my GT-40 heads. I was told by the guy that was helping me that the heads were decked to a strange size so I can't use the pedistal rockers. He said the small shims and too small and the large ones are too big. Could this be true?

![]() That is true you need shorter push rods now to make up for the decking difference.
