I just installed my direct port nitrous kit and i dont know how to go about getting the fuel to it my fuel system right now is a 140gph @18psi pump with -6an line to the carb i dont think the line is big enough to support the carb and the nos so should i t a line off back by the pump and run something like a -4an line to the kit or should i put in a seperate pump and lines i plan on running a 150 -200 shot any suggestions would be greatly appriciated.
How big of a shot are you running? How does your fuel pressure act @ WOT around the high side of the tach(on motor). 6 AN is prettybig. I'm not a carb guy but 140 lph seems like plenty enough to feed it. I run a big shot on my fuelie, and i'm planning on y'ing my fuel line and running a separate (inline) pump to my fuel solenoid. anyone
could use some advice
I run a -8 line from the pump to the regulator, with a -10 return and a -8 to the carb at 7psi. Then a separate deadhead regulator with a -4 line at 5.5 psi. to the nitrous. Mallory Comp 140 pump feeds the system with no problem, and no loss of volume or pressure.
