Default Negative camber wedge

Hey all,
I want to get some opinions on installing and using a negative camber wedge kit. My front suspension was fully rebuilt 2 summers ago along w/ polyurethan bushings and the 620 lb/in shelby springs yet i didn't perform the shelby 1" drop.
I want to know of any problems with the install, tire to fender clearances, and steering bind along with ride quality, good and bad.
I'm thinking of going the powered rack & pinion route, just haven't found a junk yard near Columbus, Mississippi that allows you to pull your own parts for a donor rack.
