![]() Well, about a week ago I went to start my car and it started shaking viloently all of a sudden. At first I thought that it might have been something like plug wires or distributor but all that stuff seemed to be okay. Plus there there wasn't a loss of performance, just a really bad skahing.. Then I thought it might have been something out of balance so I took everything apart to get to the flywheel and clutch disc and they were fine. I know it's not the drive shaft because it vibrates when it's sitting at idle. I'm really stumped as to what it is. It vibrates the worst between idle and 2500 RPM's and smoothes out a little at higher RPM's. I know that it has to be somewhere between the tranny and engine because you can really feel it in the stick compared to the steering wheel. Also, when I tore the tranny flywheel and clutch out and put them back together, the car won't engage. I don't think that there is any power going to the starter. If you guys have any suggestions please let me know because I am stumped.
