Default head gaskets instal

Heyo,
I just came back from pep boys, picking up some rtv sealer. I told the guy i needed some for the head gaskets, he gave me th blue one. I asked another guy that worked there, because on the back of the package it said not for use on head gaskets.lol. He then told me not to use any rtv sealer? What to do? I'm confused. He told me just to put on the gasket and the heads. What to do?
