Default C4 converter

Having a C4 built over the winter. Manual valve body, HD servo etc. Looking for suggestions for the converter. A couple of coverter shops suggest 10" 3400 stall. Went to the performance show this weekend and one vendor suggested 8 inch with 3400-3500 stall. Said he had a lot of mustang customers running 8 inch on the street. The vendor said the 8 inch will do better out of the hole.
My stang is 351W, holley 750, 512 cam, 4:10 rear, about 410 HP on the motor. some sunday street driven, mostly will be race. Anyone running an 8 inch with success?
Thanks,

If the car is going to used primarily for the track i would recommend the 8 inch. We have a 8 inch in a c-4 in the one race car and it leaves very violent. It will have a 1.29- 1.32 60ft on a mid 9 second pass. I have a 8 inch in the powergiide in my race car and have been very happy with it. I have a 10 inch 3500 stall in the c-4 in my daily driver and had a 1.76 60ft on a 13.03 pass.

hope this helps
