how wide can my tires go on these rims?

ive got the stock premium "bullitt style" rims....

just wondering how wide people would think they could handle, or have done to them...i love the stance of a wider tire on a sports car... :)

I wouldn't go over 255's on the 8" wide rim. You can put wider tires on them but the sidewall doesn't look good and you may run into problems with the middle of the tread wearing faster than the edges.

not much a difference from the 245s on there now...just means ill wait the few years itll take me to want different rims and ill get wider ones :)...
