Default camshaft

Is there any emissions legal camshafts more powerful than the E303 Ford cam?

It depends on what you have done to your car. I have had an E303 for the last four years and I am only replacing it now because I rebuilt the motor. The E303's power stops at 5500 rpm which is great if your car is stock or just has a few bolt ons. Are you racing? Do you need more than 5800rpm? Do you have gears in the rear end yet? Yes there are more powerful cams than the E303. I think the F and the X cams are street legal now. I know Crane Cams has some too that are bigger than the E303.

I'm not trying to piss on anyone but Ive had an E303 it worked real good went 12.80 with it edel heads and cobra intake but it is an out dated cam.

There are many newer grinds that will suite your combo better.

I like the Trick flow stage 1 cam it is a great cam for a street car with some engine work and doesnt have that 110* LSA that the E has that makes it hard to tune and get running prioperly with out a surging idle
