Default 99 suspension is squirley

Well, its been 2yrs since I have had a Stang, and I couldn't take it much longer, so purchased Stang #4 finally. This time a 99GT. And I am glad to be back here. I hate Saturn 100hp pieces of crap. lol.

Anyhow the suspension to the car I just bought is pretty rough. It was an ebay auction, and actually got a great deal on the car, so I figured if it needs X, no biggy cause I did good on price.

Here is the deal. It seems as if when you step on the gas, it wants to shift to the right. If you hit a bump the tail end gets squirley. There is a tad bit of shakeyness when you let go of the wheel. Not too bad, but a bit.

Anyhow I am not looking for a drag setup, just one that will keep the car from feeling like it wants to switch lanes cause of the suspension. I have NO idea where to start. My 95GT was so much smoother, and it was all stock. But I guess that 72k can do that to a 99GT.

So where do I start fellas? I was thinking lowering springs, but I am not sure if that will help the twist I feel in the car. Budget would be about $500.
