![]() Hello everyone!
I have recently got my 65 Mustang running but it is acting strange. If I gun it, the motor sounds like it is under power and stays that way. It never accels. Just bogs and this is sitting in neutral. Now if I back the throttle off it "wakes up" and takes off. The effect this has on the road is I cant seem to get going faster then about 35-40 Mph. My stang has a C4 auto trans till I find a proper 3 speed Manual. Things that I have done so far. full tune up including Plugs,Cap, rotor and Points. I have also rebuilt the carb. The carb is a 2 Bbl Motorcraft. The problem was really bad and cleared up some when I rebuilt the carb, but is still very very noticable. Any help and suggestions would be great! Thanks, ~Ryan
