Exclamation Oh God!! I just spent $4000

Well, I took the plunge and bought a Turbo Kit this morning. I got it from this place www.proturbokits.com . Cost me 3900 before shipping and I should have it by July 18th. I got the Street Kit with the a PT-64 Turbo, Jet Hot on hot parts, and a BOV upgrade. Godddamn Ricers are getting to fast in my area. Got to put them down, and down hard!

A 12.46 should be fast enough to kill 99% of imports.

Its more like 94.9% of imports, but there are a few I have been picking on and now they are faster than me (Supra, Evo 8) Sorry Dark, They make them for Cobras too you know

Stock 93 Bottom end, stock cam. 8-10psi, 475RWHP (estimate). Just a small amout till I can get a nicer Short block

If your going to put out 475RWHP, you might want to beef up the lower end before it blows up on you. I have a girdle on mine. (summit part number - TFS-5150R700)

Thumbs up

NICE!!! You're car is going to scream with that thing. What are doing as far as the fuel system? Upgrading pump, injectors, etc?

Good luck with everything and keep us posted on the install. I'll have to drive down one day and check it out - sounds awesome.

Congrats!

Thanks fellas. 302 LX Eric I know I told you I was getting a 408 (which might have been the safe route) but I wanted flashy. Fuel System is going to be a 255 Pump, stock lines, 30# injectors, and a Adjustable FMU. Keith at Proturbo told me that will be fine to about 500HP. I will run it like this for about a year or so than its of to short blocks and fuel systems and..............

i have 30 lb injectors and 255LPH pump with stock lines....the return line is too small for that flow of pump, the line itself is a restriction and after i installed the pump, it now runs 85 psi fuel pressure at all times. I disconnected near the fuel filter area of the car before the tank from the plastic return line to metal line connector (to make sure pickup return wasn't blocking) and fuel pressure was still 85 psi, i pulled off the return line and ran a line into a bucket and fuel pressure went back down to 35 psi. the only thing between the regulator and line to the tank is steel line, which none of it was pinched and pressure was fine until i installed the pump. Upgrade your lines if you put in that big of a pump, or you'll have lots of Fuel all the time

Thanks for that info, I am going to call back PTK and make sure that is what they want me to use. It has a 155 in it now, but I dont think that is enough.
