Default Screwed up?

New to this site and was wanting to get some input on a situation I have. I currently has a 66 coupe I am converting to a T-5. The problem is the T-5 I have is out of a 95 GT, which the input shaft is 5/8" longer than earlier models. I have searched around on the web and can't find a whole lot of info on it. Any info or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!!
