ballistic, to be on a mustang board, you sure are a bike guy

I've seen that one before, actually, I've seen a couple Turbo Busa vids. Sweet bike

But I like to go as fast as I can in 1/4 mile and let out

You're kidding right?

Granted, anyone can jump on a bike and go fast in a straight line, but I don't think a turbo Busa is really meant to show off its strength in the corners.

im just talkin in general in the few corners he took he was really in and out of the gas... on a high horse power machine thats just a baaaaaaaaaad idea unless your looking to get the rear wheel out and low side or even worse high side... Not comfy in any case but atleast he isnt some squid wearing shorts and a t shirt.....And as far as it being fast i have seen alot faster busa's ill have to track down a wma i had of one he was riding a wheelie at 150....

I see.

Yea, at least he was wearing gear. Also, I don't think he ever was really into the throttle. A bike like that would lift the front end off the ground at any speed, and from the video it didn't look like the front ever really came up too much.

I have a couple of videos of modified Hayabusa's racing a modified Walser Supra. If I remember correctly, the Supra beats two bikes, and then loses to one which was slowly pulling ahead of him when he missed a shift.

One hell of a fast Supra. They posted it's supposed times, but I can't recall what it or the bikes ran.

I'd put it up, but I don't have a host, and it's a fairly large file.

Ballastic I'm like you. I love bikes and this guy didn't look like he could ride very well. I know it's alittle rough to corner on a bike like that, especially with the turbo, but he could have rode alittle harder on the straight aways.

Bikes are very cool, you just have to be very mature to ride. I used to have a 600 and rode with some idiots. After having the bike 3 or so years I sold it, but eventually I'll get another. It's just hard to beat a bike. I paid less than $4000 for an excellent condition 600 with very low miles. A 98 FZR 600R through a slip-on and babied out the hole and still ran low 12's at 118 MPH.
I had a buddy with a 2001 GSXR 1000 with a pipe and k&n power commander and we went to the track and he ran (on street tires - and no stretched swingarm) 9.94 @ 144.8 mph on a basically stock bike. What's not to like about that?

But if you ride just be SAFE !!!!

Yeah that's a good price. I just sold my FZR about a month ago, but I will eventually buy another bike. This time I will probably step up in size. I had a buddy that had a GSXR 1000 that was awesome. I'm not sure when I'll get another bike, but I know I will no doubt. Take care man.

I've been looking for that vid, a buddy showed it to me a while back.
That bike is scary tho, Ive got a copy of the Supra vid too. Anyone seen the twin turbo Firebird racing 2 1100's on the interstate? They run up to like 140, and the bikes just cant pull on the firebird. Pretty funny.

That is a sick bike, I want one but my brother just got in a wreck on his and now my wife is on this kick that I can not have one.

He is ok but has a lot of road rash, the back of his pants are gone and the safety jacket he was wearing is ripped to shreds.

He was riding a wheelie and he lost it, the bike landed on him and he slid to a stop from over 70mph. His helmet never touched the ground.

He is sore but still rides.

He has a 1000TLR

Yeah you have to be careful. There's a time and a place for all the cutting up stuff. I've rode with people that do stupid things in the wrong places and the wrong time.... I only rode for a few years but I have seen a few people go down and a few people go down hard. If you ever get a bike just be careful.

And yes that is a sick bike. Just imagine what kind of quater miles times you could post if you had the balls to get on it and ride it.

A buddy of mine went high 9's @ 144.8mph on a GSXR1000 with about $1200 in bolt on's. Just imagine with a turbo!
