I've always loved the look of a clean silver stang!

It does need some springs though

lol ok......I will definetly lower it 1.5 inches!! I was gonna put a bodykit on it but seems like lowering it would make it alot better.....one question tho........if I lower it, will the ride be better or worse? Thanks for the feedback!

Depending on the springs it will ride different, if you get eibach progressive rate springs it should ride nice, if you get just stiff specific rate racing springs it will ride much firmer.

If you lower it the right way, you shouldn't lose any comfort..........and it may actually feel a lil more confident in the curves etc.....

IMO, you shoul lower it and put some gears in it:cool:

Make sure you get progressive rate springs. They may cost a bit more but they are worth it. I have BBK 1.5" progressive springs on my car. They handle great in the curves and ride smooth on nice roads. Only problem is they can be a bit rough on nasty streets but it isnt too bad.

Sharp car! Lowering it will make it quite a bit rougher on rough streets. My Mach comes lowered 3/4" from the factory and it rides good on the hwy but you will feel every bump in the road.. it also makes it tough to reach the ATM, drive through window, mailbox etc. from inside the car. I'd also go easy over speed bumps and on sharp inclines to make sure it doesn't bottom out. It will handle alot better though and looks good.

personally I don't like the body kits. i think the only one i would really put on my car would be a saleen--from saleen of course or maybe a snowjob (see avatar). i think the best looking mustangs out there are the ones w/ maybe some nice aftermarket rims and minor cosmetic. keep it clean brother....

The car is georgeous PERIOD! The wheels are great...adds to it big time.

Dumb question: I think we all agree that stock Mustangs ride too high. Why in God's name does Ford keep making them like this?

For my taste, I prefer about 1.5" drop...it's the way Ford should have done it in the first place.

Go to www.tirerack.com and find the section on suspensions. You can actually pull a picture of a Mustang, choose different wheel sizes and amount of lowering up to 1.75" (I think). The picture changes right before your eyes.

You can also choose different wheels in the wheel section and pick any color mustang you want even convertibles.

For my taste, I am not a fan of body kits. Most of them end up looking like they are hanging on the car and always seem to go a little over board. I have seen too many where the paint doesn't match and a bad job always make the car look like a rice burner. There are some that I like, but most I don't.

Want a nice simple touch? Add the MACH I chin spolier and grill delete. I love the look. Paint the brake calipers red or some other color. They would look awesome with those wheels.

Not trying to offend anyone, just my taste.

I like the idea about painting the calipers. It is simple, cost effective ;), and looks great!!!!!!

Also, I like the idea of the lowering kit, chin spolier, and grill delete.......subtle but classy IMO:D

Hey Jason...

Once you paint the calipers will you post a pic. I have been debating over this for months and I have decided either silver or black... and being that your car is a mirror image it might help me make up my mind :D

Thank you
