Default Flaming River Rack & Pinion

Has anyone tried this R&P setup? The ads sound great, but I'd like to get some real hands on feedback before I take this route. I looked real hard at the Total Control R&P but the reviews weren't great and the price was a bit steep.

Thanks for the input.
