![]() I scrapped my heater core a long time ago complete with all the tubes and hoses coming off the intake. After freezing my butt off all winter, I finally decided to try and put the system back on but I really dont want to reinstall that ugly nasty black tube on the top of the intake. I was wondering which ports I could use as a feed and which as a return so I can snake a nice hose in a low visiblity location to a new heater core.
I tried pulling hot air from the top of the headers but the cold air from outside cancelled it. I tried pulling hot air from atop the cats and running it through a small tube with a pc fan coming through the shifter plate. I finally tried a small cigarette lighter portable heater and that was completely and totally useless so it's back to old fasion heater core for me! Could I place my transmission cooler in the cabin instead? How much airflow does a tranny cooler need to work on an AOD (with transgo kit and some kevlar band and I think someone ripped me off and sold me a stock TC)
