Post Phenolic Intake Spacers??

I am still running my fully ported stock intake until I get the money for a new Edelbrock. A buddy of mine said he will sale me his 1 inch spacer for 5 bucks. What will this do for me?

My 1" spacer keeps my upper intake 75 degrees cooler and gave me space for the valve covers with this big Holley intake. If you don't have a Cowl Hood or a Hood that gives extra clearance it will not work, the 1" is too big.

It will increase your intake plenum volume... thats a good thing, it'll also keep things cooler, you'll make more power, maybe not too much more but a few...

If you have a spacer that blocks the exhaust gas riser, it will definitely keep your intake much cooler. You can also get rid of the coolant lines going through your EGR spacer.

The extra inch it will add to your runner length will also get you better torque but hurt your overall horsepower.
